I’m an independent researcher and current member of the Dat Consortium and the European Secure Scuttlebutt Consortium. I am also the current editor of the Secure Scuttlebutt Consortium’s Newsletter, as well as one of the main developers of Cabal, a peer-to-peer group chat I took the initiative on in April 2018.
I researched and proposed a subjective moderation system, TrustNet, for my 2020 Master’s thesis.
My current focus is on combining usability with peer-to-peer applications and ideas. The intent of that work is to create easy-to-use, sustainable infrastructure, and tools, for people and their communities.
Being an independent researcher means I rely on independent sources of funding. If you find my research outputs inspiring or otherwise useful in your day-to-day life, you can help fund more at the links below.
If you want to indirectly fund me and the arts at the same time: consider gifting an album from my Bandcamp wishlist. All code written is done so with music in the background :)
